New Delhi: OnePlus has an upcoming significant device launch set on July 8, at which it will announce two smartphones, a tablet, and a smartwatch. One of them, the OnePlus Nord CE5, is already gaining traction due to exclusive information provided by Celina Shi, OnePlus Chief Marketing Officer in Europe. It is obvious that the brand is aimed at providing high performance and a premium feature at a low cost.
The Nord 5 has seen a lot of buzz, but the Nord CE5 has been a secret up to this point. Shi said the new device will have high-end performance, a long battery life, and a camera system that can compete with other phones that are more expensive. Provided OnePlus sticks to its reputation for low prices, the Nord CE5 might be the disruptor in the mid-range Android market.

Another advantage is battery life. The phone has an 80W SuperVOOC fast charging with a 7100 mAh battery. OnePlus states that it will take only 52 minutes to charge fully. It also has the feature of bypass charging, which means when a person plays a game, the power is supplied by the charger directly to reduce heat and save battery life.

The Nord CE5 will be an affordable model, but it will still have a number of AI-driven features typically present in OnePlus flagships. Although specifics are still unknown, users will be able to look forward to such useful features as text summarisation, audio transcription, and image editing.

The phone has a 50 MP primary camera sensor with Optical Image Stabilisation (OIS) and Sony LYT-600 sensor. It is capable of recording 4K HDR videos at 60 fps. Shi said that the camera makes use of HDR algorithms and colour tuning used in the OnePlus 13, which enabled it to capture sharp, colourful shots in multiple lighting environments.
The OnePlus Nord CE5 may prove to be one of the most enticing mid-range phones of the year, as it features high-end features supported by a cheaper device.
