Accused of molesting Australian cricketers arrested within few hours, Indore police strict on women’s safety

Bhopal/Indore. Indore Police arrested the accused who molested two female cricketers from Australia in Indore, the financial capital of Madhya Pradesh, within a few hours. After the matter came to light, the Indore administration took immediate action and detained the accused. According to the police, a complaint about this incident was lodged by the security officer of the Australia women’s cricket team.

Immediate action on complaint, accused arrested

It was told in the complaint that two female players were misbehaved. After the complaint, the police registered an FIR and started searching for the accused. Additional DCP Crime Branch Rajesh Dandotiya said that with the help of CCTV footage, the accused was identified and arrested in just 6 hours. He said that the police took immediate action and took the matter seriously so that such crimes do not happen again.

Mohan Yadav government gave instructions for strict action

State Cabinet Minister Kailash Vijayvargiya said that this incident is shameful for both Indore and the country. He said that instructions have been given to the concerned officials to take strict action and give strict punishment so that such incidents can be prevented in future. “Strict punishment is necessary to set an example in such cases,” the minister said.
