Grand inauguration of Noida International Airport soon, Yogi said, this is the new flight of UP!

CM Yogi Adityanath inspected Noida International Airport in Jewar. Inauguration will happen soon. This airport will become a new symbol of development and employment in Uttar Pradesh. After the inauguration, UP will become the first state in the country to have 5 international airports.

Gautam Buddha Nagar, 25 October. Uttar Pradesh is now moving towards its ‘Gateway of Growth’. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, while conducting on-site inspection of Noida International Airport in Jewar on Saturday, said that this project will not only become a symbol of the development of the state but will also become the center of North India’s economy, tourism and new employment opportunities. During the inspection, the Chief Minister took a detailed overview of the domestic terminal, security management, inauguration ceremony venue, traffic system and progress of construction works.

High-level review of preparations before inauguration

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath held a meeting with officials of the district administration, police department, Noida International Airport Limited (NIAL) and construction agency at the airport complex. A detailed power presentation on the progress of the project and preparations for the inauguration ceremony was given in the meeting. The Chief Minister directed the officials that quality, timeliness and passenger convenience should be kept on top priority in construction works. He said that Noida International Airport is an important part of Uttar Pradesh’s Infrastructure Vision 2030 and through this the state will take a new leap in investment, connectivity and industrial development.

Special focus on safety and traffic management

Yogi Adityanath conducted a detailed review of the security arrangements, cleanliness and beautification of the airport complex. He said that a concrete and coordinated action plan should be prepared for traffic management, so that there is no chaos of any kind during the inauguration. Christoph Schnellmann, CEO of Yamuna International Airport Private Limited, informed the Chief Minister about the updated status of security, air traffic control, explosive disposal squad and infrastructure. COO Kiran Jain shared detailed information about the runway, passenger security, deployment of Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) and airlift testing. The Chief Minister directed that “the security arrangements of the airport complex should be kept tight at every level, any kind of laxity will be unacceptable.”

Chief Minister’s emphasis on quality and timeliness

CM Yogi also reviewed road connectivity, metro link, fire station, water treatment plant, waterlogging disposal and parking system. He said that there should not be any technical or structural deficiency in the operation of the airport. The Chief Minister directed the officials that all the construction works should be completed within the stipulated time as per high standards, so that the passengers can get world class facilities.

Preparations for public meeting and inauguration ceremony intensified

The CM also took stock of the preparations for the public meeting and rally to be held during the airport inauguration. He said that land leveling, cleanliness, lighting, police security, drinking water, toilets and all other basic facilities should be maintained at the meeting venue. Also, instructions were given to maintain smooth traffic and parking arrangements on the routes leading to the meeting venue.
