India sets Guinness World Record with ‘Pariksha Pe Charcha’

 New Delhi: Pariksha Pe Charcha has been awarded a Guinness World Record on Monday for the highest number of registrations in an educational initiative, with 3.53 crore participants and  over 21 crore television viewers. The certificate was accepted by the Union Cabinet Minister alongside Ashwini Vaishnaw and Shri Jitin Prasada.

The award marks the Minister’s  second Guinness recognition, the first being for PAHAL, the world’s largest LPG Direct Benefit Transfer scheme, awarded to Hon’ble PM Shri Narendra Modi. The initiative led by PM Narendra Modi, have transformed into a nation-wide festival, promoting stress-free, joyful learning. It offers students, parents, and teachers an open platform to discuss exam-related stress, aligning closely with the vision of NEP 2020.

The Minister congratulated all students, teachers, principals, parents, and schools for their active participation in achieving this historic milestone. Gratitude was also extended to the GWR team for recognizing the initiative’s deep impact on academic and emotional well-being. As PPC continues to grow, there is strong confidence that it will become bigger, bolder, and better each year—empowering India’s students to thrive with confidence and clarity.
