People receiving Nobel Peace Prize, Chief Director of Nobel Peace Prize Organization, member of Norwegian Nobel Committee, former advisor of Norwegian Nobel Committee, etc. also have the right to nomination.
This is how the winner is selected
An online form is launched by the Norwegian Nobel Committee for nomination. Its preparation starts in September. By February, nominations have to reach this committee. Names are shortlisted from the total forms received in February-March. For this, the committee sees what and how much work has been done by the person who has been nominated. Then the consultant’s opinion is taken on the short listed names between March and August. There are several rounds of meetings and in October, the name of the Nobel Prize winner of peace is approved on the basis of majority. This award is given on 10 December.

It is not easy to get awards on Pakistan’s nomination
Donald Trump’s name may have been nominated by Pakistan for the Nobel Peace Prize of 2026, but it is not easy for him to get this award. First of all, nominating by a country like Pakistan creates doubts, because Pakistan itself promotes terrorism.
