Where is the cheapest gold available? Know the latest rate of 22 carat gold here

After the passing of festive seasons like Dhanteras and Diwali, there is a decline in the demand for gold in India. People did a lot of shopping during festivals, but now the prices of gold have decreased due to decreased demand in the market. Due to this, there is pressure on gold prices in the domestic market.

Last week also the trend of falling gold prices continued. On October 24, 2025, the futures price of gold on Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) was trading at Rs 1,22,600 per 10 grams, down by about 1.21%.

22 carat gold price across the country

Now if we talk about major jewelery brands, then till October 24, 2025, the price of 22 carat gold in Malabar Gold and Diamonds, Joyalukkas, and Kalyan Jewelers is Rs 11,500 per gram. These rates are almost the same in big cities like Mumbai, Delhi, Ahmedabad and Bengaluru. At the same time, the price of 22 carat gold jewelery in Tanishq is Rs 11,505 per gram, i.e. Rs 5 more. Keep in mind that these rates neither include GST nor making charges.

Gold prices of different carats according to IBJA

Indian Bullion and Jewelers Association (IBJA) releases gold rates every morning and evening. The rates released on 24 October 2025 were as follows –

  • 24 carat (999): ₹12,242 per gram
  • 22 carat: ₹12,193 per gram
  • 20 carat: ₹11,214 per gram
  • 18 carat: ₹9,181 per gram
  • 14 carat: ₹7,162 per gram

It is clear from these figures that 22 carat gold is currently being sold between Rs 11,500-12,000 per gram.
