fenugreek pulses
Ingredients – 1/2 cup chana toor, 2 tbsp chana dal, 2 tbsp moong dal, 1/2 tsp turmeric powder, salt and water as per taste, fenugreek leaves, 1 tbsp ghee, 1 tsp cumin, 1/4 tsp asafoetida powder, ginger, garlic, green chilli, onion, Kashmiri red chilli powder, cumin powder, tomato, Garam masala, coriander leaves.

Method of preparation
To make this, take toor dal, chana dal and moong dal in a big bowl. Wash the pulses and soak them in water for 30 minutes. Add turmeric powder and salt to the pressure cooker along with soaked lentils. Add water as per requirement and let it cook for 4 to 5 whistles on low flame. Heat ghee in a pan and add cumin and asafoetida. Add chopped garlic, grated ginger and green chilli and mix. Fry it for a few seconds. Now add chopped onion to it and fry for 4 minutes. Add chilli powder and cumin powder in it. Mix well.
Now add finely chopped tomatoes and salt to it, mix well and cook. Add finely chopped fenugreek leaves and water and mix it. Cook for 3 minutes. Now add cooked lentils and water, cover it and cook on low flame for 10 minutes. Now add garam masala powder to it and cook well. After this, add green coriander powder and keep the pan aside.

prepare tadka
For tempering, add ghee in a pan. Add cumin, whole red chilli, red chilli powder and green coriander and fry it. After this add this tempering to the dal. Methi dal tadka is ready. You can also take it to office lunch. Which everyone will like.
