Saharanpur, 04 August. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Monday inaugurated 15 development projects costing ₹ 381 crore in Saharanpur. On this occasion, he congratulated the residents of Saharanpur and said that the BJP government of double engine has abolished the neglect of the region and started a new chapter of development and conservation of heritage. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath reiterated his government’s commitment to promote development, heritage and Swadeshi in Saharanpur. He said that the double engine government is not a buffalo car, but a bullet train is moving beyond the train speed.
On the last Monday of Sawan, the Chief Minister appreciated the enthusiasm of Shiva devotees in his address that today is the last Monday of Sawan. The enthusiasm of devotees in all Shiva temples is worth seeing. Discussion on the development of Maa Shakumbhari University and pilgrimage sites, CM Yogi insisted on linking Saharanpur with his rich heritage. He said that the holy Dham of Maa Shakumbhari and the site of Mother Tripuri Bala Sundari are the identity of the region. The construction of Maa Shakumbhari University has been completed and its handover is in the final stages. It will soon be a grand launch. He also talked about inaugurating the beautification work of Jahar Veer Goga, which was a brave warrior who protected the country from foreign invaders 900 years ago and who took samadhi here after seeing Baba Gorakhnath, his ashram has been given a grand appearance.
On the importance of the balance of development and heritage, the CM said that the Chief Minister said that his government is maintaining a balance between development and inheritance. Accusing the previous governments of doing politics of casteism and appeasement, he said that earlier governments used to divide the society in the name of caste and the benefits of the schemes were limited to only one family. He said that a family used to chaos in the entire state and the infamous was a whole caste. CM said that today our government has linked Saharanpur with his identity and pride.
The expansion of smart city and sports facilities CM said that under the Smart City Mission, now the municipal bodies of all district headquarters will be developed as smart cities. Sports College is being constructed in Saharanpur and sports university is being built in Meerut. He said that our youth will play only. Sports colleges will be built in every division.
Connectivity has been improved, the Chief Minister stressed the better connectivity of Saharanpur and said that now the distance from Delhi to Saharanpur can be covered in just three hours. He said that earlier we had to go to Lucknow for development, but now we are coming among you.
Indigenous and local artisans have been encouraged CM Yogi praised the wood carving and furniture industry of Saharanpur and said that if earlier governments had encouraged it, it could have made a better recognition than Italy’s furniture. Appealing to adopt Swadeshi, he said that adopting Swadeshi will benefit our artisans and strengthen the economy.
