Bhagyatara Lottery is one of the most popular weekly lottery schemes in Kerala. The reason for this is the cheap ticket of Rs 50 and big prizes. Apart from the first prize, there were several other prize categories in the draw, including consolation prizes and small cash prizes for different ticket series.
As soon as the results came, there was a flood of people’s reactions on social media. Lottery enthusiasts across Kerala started sharing screenshots and result updates as they checked their ticket numbers and congratulated the winners.
Officials have advised winners to verify their ticket numbers only as per the Kerala Government Gazette Notification and on official lottery portals before claiming the prize. Those who win a prize of more than Rs 5,000 will have to deposit it at the lottery office or authorized banks along with the original ticket and a valid identity card within the stipulated time. As per Kerala Lottery rules, applicable taxes and agent commission will also be deducted.
