Kurnool: A tragic accident occurred in Andhra Pradesh’s Kurnool district, leaving several people dead after a private travel bus caught fire.
According to reports, the bus was travelling from Hyderabad to Bengaluru when it collided with a two-wheeler near Chinnatekur village of the Kurnool district. The impact was so severe that the bus caught fire within moments, engulfing the entire vehicle in flames.
Around 40 passengers were on board. Of them, nearly 12 managed to escape through the emergency exit, while the rest were trapped inside. Officials fear that between 20 and 30 people may have been burnt alive in the blaze.
The injured have been rushed to the Kurnool government hospital for treatment. Authorities have yet to issue an official statement regarding the Andhra bus fire accident.
