2015 elections-RJD’s dominance

The 2015 elections went completely in favor of RJD. This time RJD candidate Bhola Yadav secured 71,547 votes. BJP’s Hari Sahni got 54,558 votes and had to face defeat. The victory margin was huge – 16,989 votes. This was a big success for RJD.

2020 elections – return of JDU

In the 2020 elections, the big contest for Bahadurpur seat was between JDU and RJD. JDU’s Madan Sahni won by securing 68,538 votes. Whereas RJD’s Ramesh Chaudhary got 65,909 votes. This time the victory margin was very less – 2,629 votes. LJP’s Devendra Kumar Jha was in third place who got 16,873 votes.

Special thing: JDU leader Madan Sahni is a graduate. Madan Sahani has two criminal cases. His total assets are worth Rs 2 crore and he has a loan of Rs 3 lakh.
