Doctor Ajay told that dengue shock syndrome occurs when the virus starts weakening the blood vessels. In such a situation the blood pressure starts falling rapidly. Not only this, the blood supply to the body parts stops. Experts say that due to this, multiple organs start failing and situations of death arise.
How does it start?
The doctor told that this shock syndrome does not start suddenly. A mild fever occurs first and ignoring it is the biggest mistake. People do not get tested for dengue even after seeing symptoms. Meanwhile, fever increases rapidly and persists for three to four days. In this, symptoms like restlessness, chills, stomach ache, vomiting and feeling of fatigue are seen. According to experts, these are symptoms of shock syndrome. In this condition, if BP starts falling rapidly and bleeding from nose and gums starts, one should immediately go to the hospital.
Will power starts deteriorating in shock syndrome. In this the blood vessels get damaged and this reason becomes fatal. - Doctors say that if you are having continuous fever then get yourself checked for health problems like malaria, dengue and chikungunya. First of all get CBC test done. In this way you will be able to continuously monitor platelets.

- Do not self-medicate, especially painkillers or aspirin
- Drink as much water as possible even during fever.
- Eat light food which has been prepared in liquid form only.
