A woman was gang raped to vacate her flat in Bengaluru. Six people are arrested in this case, while the main accused is absconding. The money and phones looted from the accused have been recovered.
Bengaluru: Six people have been arrested in connection with the gang rape of a woman by contract takers to get her flat vacated in Bengaluru. Except the main accused Mithun, everyone else has been caught. The phone and money looted from the woman after the gang rape have been recovered from the accused. Police said that the condition of the 27-year-old woman is improving.
Six people aged between 22 to 25 years have been arrested in the Bengaluru gang rape case. Police said that two of the arrested people had raped the woman. The third person mentioned in the woman’s complaint is yet to be found. Police said that the main accused in the case, Mithun, is yet to be caught. All the 7 accused had reached the woman’s house on Tuesday night. They introduced themselves as police and said that they had come here on the information of a brothel being run. They brutally beat a woman and two men present inside the house. The woman’s son also suffered injuries.
After this, the woman working in the beauty parlor was dragged to another room and gang raped. When three men attacked the woman, the rest of the gang were on guard. The gang looted Rs 25,000 and two mobile phones from the woman. After receiving information at around 12:30 in the night, the police caught three people in the night itself. Three more of the remaining people were caught today. Police said that the search for the main accused Mithun has been intensified. Police also said that there are some mysteries in the incident and they suspect that the woman probably knew some of the accused beforehand.
