Now any person, institution or NGO can adopt animals like tiger, wolf, lion, bear. The scheme has been launched under the Captive Animal Sponsorship of the Wildlife Department.

How much will the tiger and wolf adopt in Kota cost?

Wildlife DFO Anurag Bhatnagar said an annual expenditure of 6.72 lakhs on tiger adoption. The scheme includes more than 85 animals of 13 species. The annual expenses of living, eating and treatment for every animal have been fixed. For example, the adoption of the tiger will cost Rs 6.72 lakh annually and Rs 5.16 lakh on the lioness. 1.8 lakhs have been fixed for wolf male and Rs 1.68 lakh for female.
