Those who really know their BMWs, know about AC Schnitzer and the sort of parts they build. Their latest creation of components addresses the looks of the new generation of the BMW X3 which gets new visual upgrades. This is a good thing since the new X3 divides quite a bit of opinion based on its looks.
Lets start from the front of the vehicle. AC Schnitzer is offering a front lip splitter and canards on the front bumper. We are not really sure about its implications on the aerodynamics of this vehicle but it definitely spices up the front of the vehicle. There are also more aggressive side skirts, and at the back there is a huge wing now. Other changes include a sticker package which has been an offering that AC Schnitzer gives to almost all its models.
One can also get new lowering springs for the car if they want their X3 to sit lower and wheel choices range from 19-inches, all the way up to 22-inches. One can also get wheel spacers for these wheels to sit right in the wells and fill them up completely. Changes on the interior are scarce and only limited to some aluminum pedals and a key holder which is weird because it takes the space of your cup-holder.
There are no engine performance mods yet but we can expect AC Schnitzer to roll some of them out slowly. All these parts do not come cheap. The set of wheels can set you back €5,590 (Rs 5.63 lakh), the lowering springs are €539 (Rs 54,289), the front splitter is €1,790 (Rs 1.8 lakh), the side skirts cost €790 (Rs 79,568) and the rear wing is priced at €519 (Rs 52,273). All of this pricing is in Europe. If you want to bring it India, these will cost a significant amount more due to the very expensive import duty on automotive parts.
