The maximum temperature in the capital Lucknow today is expected to be 40 degrees and minimum 28 degrees Celsius. The sky will be mainly clear and the effect of sunlight will be strong. In Kanpur also the temperature can reach 39 degrees. The temperature in both these cities is likely to reach 42 degrees in the next three to four days, due to which the heat may increase further.
Light signs of rain in Purvanchal, but heat persists
The weather in Basti today may remain partly cloudy and there is a possibility of light rain or thundershowers. The maximum temperature here is expected to be 43 degrees Celsius. The weather in Ayodhya will be clear and the temperature will be around 37 degrees. Varanasi (Banaras) is also likely to have mainly clear skies throughout the day, while the maximum temperature may reach 36 degrees. The effect of heat will be felt most in Gonda. The temperature here can reach 43 degrees and there is no sign of much change in the weather for the next few days.
Heat like conditions in Prayagraj and Banda
Today the maximum temperature in Prayagraj is expected to be 39 degrees Celsius and in Banda it is expected to be 38 degrees Celsius. The sky will be clear in both the districts and strong sunlight may bother people. The temperature in Banda is likely to reach 42 to 43 degrees between June 17 and 19.
