sit-ups

Siddharth tells in the video that the first exercise that should be avoided is sit-ups. Many people do this exercise to strengthen the core. But the reality is that this does not have any significant effect on your core. Rather, it increases the risk of neck strain and pain or injury in the upper back.

Russian twists

The second exercise is Russian Twist… Siddharth says that even though its name may seem attractive, it actually does not have any significant effect on the core. Rather, it can put too much pressure on your lower back. Additionally, there is a risk of back pain or injury. This exercise also takes a lot of your time.

side bends

The third exercise is side bends…this exercise is done to slim the waist. But in reality it does not make the waist thin but works to make it thick. This exercise trains your obliques muscles and when these muscles grow, they start appearing less wide. That means it has adverse effects on your body. In such a situation, instead of these exercises, you can do Side planks, Deadbugs, Pallof press workout.
