Shibu Soren, a former Jharkhand Chief Minister and called ‘Dishom Guruji’, died at the age of 81 at Ganga Ram Hospital in Delhi. He had been ill for a long time and was on ventilator support for the last several days due to kidney disease. Shibu Soren is the founder of the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha and the leader of a separate Jharkhand movement. Many leaders including Chief Minister Hemant Soren, PM Modi, Rahul Gandhi have expressed deep condolences on his death.
