Lucknow: Open cupboard, no clothes on body… 92 year old man retired from Jal Nigam murdered

A heart-wrenching incident has come to light in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh. Here in Indiranagar an elderly man was murdered. The incident was carried out in the old man’s house itself. His age is said to be 92 years. On information, the police reached the spot and sent the body of the old man for post-mortem. A police officer said that the accused will not be spared.

The name of the deceased elderly is Prem Narayan Aggarwal, who was 92 years old. He was earlier an accountant in Jal Nigam, who was living at home after retirement. When the police reached the spot, the old man had no clothes on his body. The dead body was found lying inside the house. According to the police, the cupboard of the house was lying open and all the stuff was scattered.

Dog squad was called

An officer said that someone had informed him over the phone that a dead body had been found in the house. Dog squad was called to the spot and forensic team also came. Both the teams have collected the evidence present at the scene. Police have expressed suspicion of murder due to robbery. The incident took place in Madan Mohan Malviya Kalyan Society, A Block of Indiranagar.

Deputy Commissioner of Police R Shankar said that at around 5:30 the police received information that the dead body of an elderly person was found inside a house. On receiving information, police reached the spot. The body has been sent for post-mortem. A suspect has been seen in the CCTV footage, whose identity is being traced by the police.
