2015 elections: BJP’s strong hold

  • BJP had won this seat in 2015.
  • 53,615 votes for BJP candidate Manoj Kumar
  • Dr. Ranvijay Kumar of JDU (JD(U)) got 45,943 votes.
  • Margin of victory: 7,672 votes

Important thing: This victory reflected the BJP’s strong position in this seat and it came to be considered a stronghold of the party.

2010 elections: BJP’s consecutive victories

Even in the 2010 elections, BJP had kept its position strong.

  • JD(U)’s Dr. Ranvijay Kumar got 47,378 votes.
  • RJD’s Ram Ayodhya Prasad got 46,684 votes.
  • Margin of victory: 694 votes (very close contest)

Important thing: This election shows that Goh has always been a tough contested seat.
