I did not even take any other heritage of another, kept the subjects like a son. I continued to punish the criminals like sons and bonds. Never hated anyone. Everyone is considered equal. Always worship gentlemen. In this way, I do not have a son even while reigning religious. So I am very sad, what is the reason for this?
The minister and the representatives of the subjects went to the forest to consider this matter of Raja Mahjit. He saw big sages and sages there. To fulfill the best wish of the king, he kept looking at a superior ascetic monk.

Those people further said that we are his subjects. Therefore, we are also sad due to his sorrow. We have full faith in your philosophy that our crisis will definitely be removed because many sufferings are removed by the mere philosophy of great men. Now please please tell me the solution to be the son of the king.
Hearing this talk, the sage closed his eyes for a while and started knowing the account of the king’s previous birth and said that this king was a poor Vaishya in the previous birth. Being poor, it did many bad deeds. It used to go from one village to another to trade.
At one time, on the day of Dwadashi of Shukla Paksha of Jyeshtha month, he was hungry and thirsty for two days, went to drink water on a reservoir. At the same place, an immediately married thirsty cow water was drinking.
The king removed that thirsty cow while drinking water and started drinking water himself, so the king had to bear this sorrow. On the day of Ekadashi, he became a king and the thirsty cow has to bear the grief of son’s disconnection due to the removal of water. Hearing this, everyone started saying, O sage! Atonement of sins is also written in the scriptures. Therefore, as the king’s sin is destroyed, you tell me such a solution.
Lomash Muni started saying that on the Ekadashi of Shravan Shukla Paksha, also called Putrada Ekadashi, you all fast and awaken at night, then this will definitely destroy the sin of the king’s previous birth of the king, as well as the king will get the son.
Hearing such words of Lomash Rishi, all the Praja, including the ministers, returned to the city and when Shravan Shukla Ekadashi came, according to the knowledge of the sage, everyone fasted and awakened the Putrada Ekadashi.
After this, the fruit of its virtue was given to the king on the day of Dwadashi. With the influence of that virtue, the queen conceived and at the end of childbirth, a very stunning son was born.
That’s why O Rajan! This Shravan Shukla Ekadashi was named Putrada. Therefore, those who get a desire for happiness, must do this fast. By listening to its great significance, man is freed from all sins and in this world, heaven gets heaven in the hereafter.
