Ayodhya Deepotsav 2025: CM Yogi Adityanath saw Ramlila of 5 countries

In Deepotsav 2025, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath saw Ramleela from Sri Lanka, Russia, Nepal, Indonesia and Thailand at Ramkatha Park in Ayodhya. CM appreciated the artists and honored the winners of the competitions.

Ayodhya. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath saw the staging of Ramlilas from different countries in a grand program organized in Ayodhya on Sunday on the occasion of Deepotsav 2025. On this occasion, artists from Sri Lanka, Indonesia, Russia, Thailand and Nepal presented their traditional Ramlilas. Artists from many Indian states including the host state Uttar Pradesh also brought alive the life stories of Shri Ram on stage in their own style.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath encouraged the artists in Ramkatha Park

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath reached Ramkatha Park and enjoyed Ramlilas of different countries and states. He witnessed Bindermayer Bareilly’s Ramlila and also appreciated the staging by Sri Lankan artists.

CM praised the performance of Ramlilas artists from Sri Lanka and Uttarakhand and encouraged them. During this, he said that such cultural presentations are a symbol of India’s rich tradition and global cultural unity.

Chief Minister honored the winners

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath honored the winners of various competitions organized during Deepotsav on the stage. Awards were given to Himani Pandey in Deepotsav poetry competition and Rohan Kumar in Deepotsav painting competition. Apart from this, Amila Damayanti, Hindi Professor, University of Colombo, Sri Lanka, presented traditional masks used in Sri Lanka’s Ramlila, a symbol of India-Sri Lanka cultural ties, to Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.

Saints and public representatives were present in the program

Many saints, religious leaders and public representatives were present during the Deepotsav program. Among them, Swami Raghavacharya Ji Maharaj, Santosh Das Ji Maharaj ‘Satua Baba’, Cabinet Minister Surya Pratap Shahi, Mayor Girish Pati Tripathi, MLA Abhay Singh, Chandrabhanu Paswan and Vedprakash Gupt were prominently involved.
