How to Plant Cuttings, Saplings or Seeds
If you want to plant seeds, then make a pit of two to three inches in moist soil and plant two to three seeds at a distance of three to four inches. Cover it with polythene and keep it in a shady place. In at least 5-6 days it will germinate and leaves will start emerging. Then remove the polythene.
If you have brought a plant from a nursery, you can plant it directly in the prepared soil. Just keep in mind that the roots should be completely covered with soil, otherwise the plant starts drying up.
If you want to plant this plant from cuttings then October to March is a good time for this. While choosing its cutting, keep in mind that it should be mature, that is, a slightly old and brown colored branch is suitable. Take a 6-7 inch long branch and remove its lower leaves, then make a cut in it. Plant it at a depth of at least 3 inches, spray a little water. Keep it covered with polythene, but do not water it too much and do not keep it in direct sunlight. Its roots are formed in 4 to 6 weeks.
Take care of the plant like this
- Keep in mind that the plant should have proper drainage, pay a little more attention until it matures.
- Water the plant only when needed and do not water too much at once, otherwise the roots start rotting.
- To protect the plant from pests, fill neem oil in a spray bottle and spray it around the roots and on the entire plant.
