Kanti Assembly Elections 2015-Independent won

- Ajit Kumar (HAMS)-48,836 votes
- Parvez Alam (RJD)-47,050 votes
Important thing: This time independent candidate Ashok Chaudhary surprised everyone and won by 9,275 votes.
Kanti Assembly Elections 2020-Return of RJD
- The contest in 2020 was triangular.
- Mo. Israel Mansouri (RJD) – 64,458 votes (won)
- Ajit Kumar (IND) – 54,144 votes
- Mo. Jamal (JDU) -25,891 votes
Important thing: This time RJD made a spectacular comeback and won by defeating Ajit Kumar by 10,314 votes.
Note: Mo. Israel Mansoori’s educational qualification is 12th pass. Two criminal cases are registered against him. He has total movable and immovable assets worth Rs 96 lakh and has a loan of about Rs 21 lakh.
RJD’s dominance or BJP-JDU’s counterattack?
In the last elections, RJD performed well on Kanti seat, but BJP and JDU have also shown their strength. Now in 2025, both the parties are together, due to which the competition has become more tough. The question is whether the BJP-JDU alliance will be able to consolidate votes, or will the RJD register victory again on the basis of its old vote bank.
