Helpless in front of Taliban, threat to India: Pak Army Chief again barked

Asim Munir Threats India: Pakistani Army is currently fighting against Afghanistan. Meanwhile, Army Chief Asim Munir has once again issued a hollow threat. His statement is being considered as an attempt to hide the loss of Operation Sindoor.

Islamabad: Pakistan Army Chief Asim Munir, who is facing defeat in the war with Taliban, has once again threatened India. During the passing out parade at Pakistan Military Academy (PMA) Kakul, Munir said, ‘There is no place for war in an environment with nuclear weapons. Will respond appropriately to any provocation by India. This statement of Munir has come at a time when the Pakistani Army seems helpless in front of Taliban fighters.

What did Asim Munir say

Spitting venom against India, Munir said, ‘Pakistan is not afraid of any kind of provocation or threat by India. We will never be afraid to threaten or exert pressure and will respond to any minor provocation heavily and decisively. If anyone promotes, the responsibility will be entirely on India.

Pakistan suffered huge losses in Operation Sindoor

The Indian Air Force (IAF) caused heavy losses to Pakistan in Operation Sindoor. During this period, 12-13 fighter aircraft of Pakistan were destroyed which included 4-5 F-16s on the ground and 5 F-16s and JF-17s in the air. Two Pakistani spy planes were also destroyed. The Indian strikes cratered several airbases, damaging radar systems, command centres, runways and hangars. The surface-to-air missile system (SAM) was also damaged. Despite this loss, Munir issued retributive and threatening statements to conceal that his DGMO had requested the ceasefire.

Munir’s statement and India’s reaction

Munir said in his statement, ‘Our weapons will break India’s geographical security shield and cause huge damage.’ But the real reality is that after the Pahalgam terrorist attack in April, India destroyed the terror infrastructure by carrying out precise strikes in Pakistan and PoK in May. The Indian Army targeted the airbase and aircraft, effectively stopping Pakistani provocation.
