On Saturday, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and Defense Minister Rajnath Singh further strengthened this initiative by planting saplings here.

Both the leaders inspected ‘Shaurya Van’ and appreciated the plantation work done there. The Chief Minister also gave instructions to further expand this forest area.

30 Acres of Greenery: Green Belt of BrahMos Facility

According to Lucknow Divisional Forest Officer Sitanshu Pandey, the forest department has developed green belt in an area of ​​30 acres in the BrahMos facility Bhatgaon. So far 20 thousand saplings have been planted in this area. There are also plans to plant more trees here when land becomes available.

‘Shaurya Van’ – the land symbolizing the valor of the army

Sitanshu Pandey said that ‘Shaurya Van’ has been established in the BrahMos facility complex. It has been named ‘Shaurya’ to showcase the story of courage and dedication of the Indian Army through the BrahMos missile project and Operation Sindoor.

  • Mango plants: 3,000 to 4,000
  • Neem plants: 2,000 to 3,000
  • Amla plants: 2,000 to 3,000
  • Maulshree, Guava, Arjun, Shisham: Around 6,000 to 7,000

Apart from this, the forest area has been made safe and attractive by surrounding it with bamboo plants on all sides.
