Dhanteras 2025: Farmers’ conference was organized today at the Chief Minister’s residence in Bhopal. On the day of Dhanteras, CM gave many gifts to the farmers of the state. Farmers will be given 90% subsidy on solar pumps, they will have to pay only 10%.
Bhopal News: There is big news for the farmers of Madhya Pradesh on Dhanteras. Now they will have to pay only 10 percent of the price for the solar pump, not 40 percent. The remaining 90 percent amount will be borne by the Madhya Pradesh government. Not only this, a farmer with 3 horse power connection will also be able to take advantage of this scheme. Apart from this, in future, due to low prices, farmers will not have to throw their crops on the roads, the government will buy their crops. Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav gave a big relief to the Annadata with these announcements in the CM House on October 18. He said that all the virtues are on one side and service to the food giver is on the other side. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is committed to farmers’ welfare. The occasion was the farmers’ conference organized at the Chief Minister’s residence. During this time, CM Dr. Mohan also lashed out at Congress. He said that Congressmen have committed a sin by obstructing public welfare.
It is noteworthy that on the occasion of Dhanteras, a farmers conference was organized at the Chief Minister’s residence. Thousands of farmers from the districts attended the program. On this occasion, Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that earlier during the disaster, farmers used to get relief amount after the completion of the survey, but under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, we changed this method. Soybean has just been harvested in our state, while the money for its loss has already reached the farmers’ accounts. As the information about the farmers is coming in, the relief amount is reaching their accounts. This is our commitment towards the farmers. He said that in accordance with the spirit of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the state government is honoring the farmers. According to the resolution letter, our government gave the price of wheat to the farmers at Rs 2600. Will increase it further now. Madhya Pradesh gives the highest price of wheat in the entire country. Only the son of a farmer family can understand what a farmer says. Children from a farmer’s house can do all the work.

Farmers risk their lives
CM Dr. Yadav said that Congressmen should listen with open ears. Congress has never made any farmer’s son the Chief Minister in the country or state. Madhya Pradesh was established in 1956, but not a single farmer’s son became the Chief Minister. Congress committed this sin. It is BJP only, which made the farmer’s son the head of the state. Our farmers achieve the culmination of their hard work in the sun. They bear hail, frost, drought and flood, risk their lives to grow food and feed people. He said that all the virtues of life are on one side and service to the farmers is on the other side. Congress should apologize for not allowing full use of Narmada water. The state is the motherland of rivers. More than 250 rivers originate from here. From Mother Narmada, the region of Nimar-Malwa-Central India gets water for drinking, agriculture and industry. But, from 1956 to 2003, Congress did not allow the use of Narmada water.
CM took on Congress
CM Dr. Mohan said that the Narmada Valley Project was built in 1977, but the Congress governments did not do the work. Congressmen used to make fun. It was said that it is not possible to send water to where Narmada is downstream and where it is upstream. Whereas, today history is in front of us. Madhya Pradesh was formed in 1956 and till 2002-03 only 7.5 lakh hectares were irrigated. The price of wheat was Rs 100 per quintal in 1956 and because of these Congressmen, its price could reach only Rs 500 per quintal by 2002-03. Only Rs 400 was increased in so many years. Congress committed this sin. We are happy that the price of wheat which was Rs 500 in 2005 has become Rs 2600 a quintal today. He said that this is the way of working of BJP. It increased by Rs 2000 in 20 years and by Rs 400 in 55 years. If our ancestors had got this money, how much their lives would have changed. During the Congress governments, farmers had to stand in queues for diesel and did not even get electricity. The situation was very bad during the Congress rule. Whereas, today there is electricity surplus in the state. There is 24 hours electricity in our cities as well as rural areas.
State government committed to farmers’ welfare
CM Dr. Mohan said that farmers get Rs. 6 thousand as Kisan Samman Nidhi, Rs. 6 thousand comes from the Prime Minister. A farmer gets a bill of seven and a half thousand rupees for a connection of 5 horse power. The government pays a subsidy of Rs 51 thousand on this. Now we have come up with a plan for solar pump. Till now, when purchasing a solar pump, 40 percent of the price was paid by the farmer and 60 percent by the government. I announce from the stage itself that now farmers will have to pay only 10 percent of the price to buy solar pumps, the remaining 90 percent will be paid by the government. Farmers whose connections are of 3 horse power will also get 5 horse power solar pumps at ten percent price only. The farmer will light the electricity in his house. This is our commitment towards the farmers.
100 lakh will irrigate area
The head of the state said that through the river linking scheme, adequate water is being provided to the farmers for irrigation. If farmers’ crops get water, their crops turn into gold. The state government has set a target of increasing the area under irrigation to 100 lakh hectares. Madhya Pradesh is at number-1 in orange-masala-garlic-coriander-dalham-oilseeds. Pea-onion-chilli and guava are second in production. It ranks third among medicinal-aromatic plants. In our state, when some crops grow in excess, farmers have to throw them away. But, farmers will no longer have to throw away their crops. He said that in future, the government will set up food processing units at the places and buy their crops. There will be no loss to the farmers. We have instructed the officials to sit with the map of Madhya Pradesh and do research on where all the crops are grown. If even a grain of food touches our feet, we consider it an insult. Gods reside in it. In this situation, when the crop has to be thrown away, it is a very serious matter. Therefore, we will not allow food to be insulted.

Help your friends in every situation
CM Dr. Yadav said that all cattle rearing farmers should celebrate the festival of Govardhan Puja with pomp. The state government will celebrate the festival of Govardhan Puja at the official level. Orchha Dham of Lord Shri Ram is being given a grand look in the state. Ram is also developing forest path. Every place associated with Lord Shri Krishna is being developed as a pilgrimage site. Farmer brothers, educate your children. We should always be ready to help our friends. He said that this is not the Chief Minister’s residence but the residence of farmers. Last year, 2 lakh farmers were registered, after the resumption of Bhavantar Yojana, till date 9 lakh soybean farmers have been registered. Dear sisters will be given an additional benefit of Rs 250 on this Bhai Dooj. Happy Diwali to everyone from me.
