The body of a 20-year-old youth, who was staying with his girlfriend for 8 days, was found in a lodge in Bengaluru. He died mysteriously after his girlfriend left. Police are investigating the case from all angles including heart attack, food poisoning and murder.
Bengaluru: A young man from Puttur has died mysteriously in the capital Bengaluru. The dead body of a 20 year old youth named Takshit was found in a lodge. This incident took place in Madiwala police station area of Bengaluru. Takshit’s body was found at Grand Choice Lodge in Madiwala on Friday night. It is being told that Takshit had come to Bengaluru with his girlfriend 8 days ago. Both stayed in the lodge for 8 days. The boy died mysteriously on the 9th day. It is being said that the girl had left Bengaluru even before the death of the young man. Because of this, many types of doubts have arisen regarding the death.
Takshit had booked a room at Grand Choice on 9 October. Takshit had taken the room with his girlfriend, Priyanka, a resident of Virajpet, Madikeri. Takshit and his girlfriend were earlier studying BBA in Panambur. Both of them had left college due to backlog. During this time, Takshit lied to his family that he was going to Mysore for studies and took a room in Madiwala’s lodge with his girlfriend.
For the last 8 days, he was spending time in the room by ordering breakfast and food parcels. Yesterday Takshit and the girl had ordered food from Swiggy. He got food poisoning after eating food. After this, both of them went to the medical store and brought the medicine and consumed it. After recovering a bit, Priyanka checked out of the room and returned to her home. But Takshit, who stayed in the room, died while sleeping.
Did Takshit die of heart attack?
On Friday night the lodge staff knocked on the door of the room. But, no reply came from Takshit’s room. When the lodge staff opened the room with the master key, they found Takshit’s body. He immediately informed Madiwala police station. Police have registered the case and started investigation from all angles. Prima facie it is suspected that Takshit died of heart attack, and the police have registered a UDR and started investigation.
Police suspect many things
The police suspect many things in this case. There is a suspicion that the food ordered from Swiggy might have caused food poisoning. Takshit was alive till the time the girl left the room, then how did he die? Why did Takshit stay in the room with the girl for 8 days? Was there poison in the food Takshit ate? If there was poison, then who mixed it in the food? Did Takshit commit suicide by consuming poison after the girl broke up and left? Or did the girl pretend to eat poison and feed it to Takshit? Or was it a heart attack? Madiwala police is trying to find answers to all these questions.
