In 2004, the aircraft carrier INS Vikramaditya, taken from Russia, was included in the Indian Navy. Earlier, INS Vikrant designed in the Soviet Union was included in the Indian Navy in 1987. Despite the US lakhs of restrictions, India signed a deal for the S-400 air defense system at a cost of $ 5.43 billion in 2018 and its delivery started from the year 2021. This system can identify the missiles and fighter jets of enemies from 400 km away and destroy them.
