Jharkhand Chikitsa Pratiporti Yojana 2025: If you are a resident of Jharkhand state and a registered laborer involved in building construction, then the government has a very helpful scheme for you. The name of this scheme is “Medical Reimbursement Scheme (Chikitsa Pratipoorti Yojana)”. Under this scheme, the Jharkhand government provides financial assistance to registered laborers for the treatment of serious diseases. The special thing is that this is a 100% state government sponsored scheme, to avail the benefits of which the application can be made only online. What is Medical Reimbursement Scheme?

This scheme has been started by the Department of Labour, Employment, Training and Skill Development, Government of Jharkhand. Its purpose is to provide financial relief to construction workers for the treatment of serious diseases like cancer, heart disease, kidney disease, AIDS, liver transplant. Every beneficiary will get the benefit of one time assistance for one illness. The assistance amount is paid after the recommendation of the district level committee.

Which diseases get financial help in the treatment of Chikitsa Pratiporti Yojana?

Under this scheme, workers get financial assistance for the treatment of the following diseases-

  • cancer
  • Heart disease (including surgery)
  • Kidney disease (including surgery)
  • incurable mental illness
  • aids
  • bone marrow transplant
  • liver transplant
  • spinal surgery
  • Major Vascular Disease
  • advanced liver cirrhosis
  • retinal detachment
  • diabetic retinopathy etc.
  • The benefit of the scheme is given only for the listed diseases and once only.

Who can avail the benefits of Jharkhand Medical Reimbursement Scheme?

  • The applicant must be a permanent resident of Jharkhand state.
  • Applicant must be a registered laborer with Jharkhand Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board (JBOCWWB).
  • Age must be 18 years or older.
  • Applicant should be associated with construction work like mechanic, carpenter, electrician, painter, porter etc.
  • The applicant should be suffering from any serious illness (like cancer, heart disease etc.).

How to apply online for Chikitsa Pratiporti Yojana?

  • To apply for this scheme, you will have to register first. To register, first go to the official website of Comprehensive Labor Management System, Jharkhand.
  • Here click on Login on the top right and then select Register Here.
  • Fill name, mobile number, email, username and password.
  • Complete verification with OTP.
  • After verification, now complete the application process-
  • Login and go to menu “Services- BOC Scheme Benefit – Application Form”
  • Upload your basic details, scheme name and required documents.
  • Finally click on Submit Request.
  • After submission, you will get Application ID, note it down.

How to check status?

Go to Services > BOC Scheme Benefit > Application Status and enter the Application ID. After the status appears Approved, you will become eligible to get benefits.

The list of recognized hospitals and the maximum cost limit of treatment issued by the Health Department is updated from time to time. Under the scheme, reimbursement of treatment expenses will be available only in those hospitals which are included in the list.
