Dry Fruit Roll Recipe: Now not a single grain of sugar is needed in Diwali sweets! These homemade no sugar dry fruits rolls are not only delicious but also a healthy energy booster. Made with the natural sweetness of figs and dates, these rolls have the crisp taste of dry fruits and the aroma of desi ghee. To make and store it, neither a single grain of sugar nor any preservative or artificial sugar is to be used. Material
- Dates-10–12
- Fig-6–7
- Almonds-4 tbsp
- Pistachios-3 tbsp
- Cashew nuts-2 tbsp
- Walnuts – 2 tbsp
- Ghee-2 tbsp
- Cardamom powder–¼ tsp
- Poppy seeds – 1 tablespoon
Step by Step Dry Fruits Roll Recipe
Make fig and date paste
- Take out the seeds of figs and dates.
- Put them in a grinder and prepare a smooth paste.
- Grind dates and figs dry without soaking them.

Roast Poppy Seeds
- Heat a pan and add poppy seeds and dry roast them.
- When it turns light golden, take it out in a plate and let it cool.
- This will be useful for outside coating of the rolls.
Roast Dry Fruits
- Now add 1-2 spoons of ghee in the same pan.
- Add finely chopped almonds, cashews, pistachios and walnuts.
- Add cardamom powder and fry for 2-3 minutes until it turns light golden brown.
- Then take them out in a plate and keep them aside.
Cook Fig-Date Paste
- Add some ghee again in the pan.
- Now add fig and date paste and cook on medium flame while stirring for 3-5 minutes.
- When the mixture becomes soft and slightly sticky, add roasted dry fruits to it.
- Mix well so that all the ingredients are mixed.

- Apply some ghee on a butter paper and take out the prepared mixture.
- Roll it with hands into the shape of a long cylinder (roll).
- After the roll is made, spread roasted poppy seeds on it and coat it all around with light hands.
- Now wrap this roll with butter paper and keep it in the fridge for 45 minutes so that it becomes hard.

- Take out the roll after 45 minutes.
- Cut into ½ inch thick round pieces with a knife.
- Decorate in a serving plate and serve to your family.
