Thiruvananthapuram: Kerala Police on Saturday arrested a man who allegedly attacked state Chief Minister V.D. Satheesan and his family were threatened with death. According to the police, the accused has been identified as Soni Thomas, a resident of Velakkad, Attingal. He was taken into custody after a complaint was lodged at the Cantonment Police Station in Thiruvananthapuram. - According to the FIR, the accused made repeated calls to the official caller ID number of Thiruvananthapuram City District Police Command Center (DPCC) around 6:50 pm on Thursday evening. During these calls he allegedly called V.D. Threatened to kill Satheesan and his family members.
