LPG and LNG import increased

Apart from oil, India has also increased the import of liquid petroleum gas (LPG) and liquid natural gas (LNG) from the US. In 2024-25, LNG imports increased from $ 1.41 billion to $ 2.46 billion. According to sources, a large LNG contract between India and the US is also in discussion, which can cost billions of dollars.
