What are winter bound schools?
Winter bound schools are schools that are located in cold or mountainous areas. In these schools, due to winter, the academic session of the school starts and ends differently from other schools. Therefore CBSE sets special dates and guidelines for practical exams, projects and internal assessments for them. Like some schools of Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand or Sikkim fall in this category.
