UPSSSC has termed the rumors spreading on social media regarding Lekhpal Main Examination 2026 as misleading. The Commission said that the examination was conducted in a fair and transparent manner. A warning has been given of strict legal action against those spreading rumours.

Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UPSSSC) has taken a strong stance on the misleading claims and rumors being spread on social media regarding the Lekhpal Main Examination. The Commission has made it clear that the Lekhpal Main Examination held on 21 May 2026 was successfully conducted with complete transparency, fairness and security arrangements. Despite this, some people are deliberately trying to raise questions on the examination process and confuse the candidates.
Examination conducted peacefully at 861 examination centers in 44 districts
In the official statement issued by the Commission, it was said that the Lekhpal Main Examination was conducted at 861 examination centers set up in 44 districts of the state. Extensive security and monitoring arrangements were made during the examination so that the entire process remains fair and cheating-free. According to the Commission, the examination was conducted in a peaceful and orderly manner.
Commission keeps an eye on misleading claims being spread on social media
The Controller of Examinations said that some people with wrong intentions are questioning the credibility of the examination on social media platforms. Efforts are being made to mislead the candidates through such misleading analysis and unconfirmed information. The Commission clarified that the recruitment process is completely transparent and all necessary steps have been taken to maintain its integrity.
Appeal to candidates to rely only on official information
The Commission has appealed to the candidates not to pay attention to any rumor or unconfirmed information going viral on social media. Candidates are advised to rely only on the official information released by the Commission. The Commission said that those who are creating confusion by spreading misinformation are being continuously monitored.
Legal action will be taken against those spreading rumors
The Controller of Examinations warned that strict legal action will be taken by the Commission and the police administration against those who make the recruitment process suspicious, instigate candidates or spread rumors through social media. The Commission reiterated that the transparency and fairness of the recruitment process will not be compromised at any level.
Government’s continuous focus on cheating-free examinations
It is noteworthy that the Uttar Pradesh government is continuously laying special emphasis on technical monitoring, strong security arrangements and administrative vigilance to make the recruitment examinations cheating-free and transparent. In the same direction, the Lekhpal Main Examination was also conducted under strict surveillance and security arrangements.
