Summer Holidays is the latest family entertainer from Tollywood, backed by Dheeraj Mogilineni. Master Rohan and Master Arun played the lead roles, and the movie, directed by Srikar, received good appreciation from critics. However, Summer Holidays is facing stiff competition from biggies.
At a recent press meet, producer Dheeraj Mogilineni made some interesting comments. He said, “I have been seeing a lot of tweets and social media posts about Summer Holidays. They are really of no use. You should come to the theatres and watch our movie. Only when people come to cinema halls and watch our film will there be a difference. I am saying this again. Praise posts on social media aren’t of any use.”
He added, “I am not concerned about the collections. I want more parents to watch Summer Holidays along with their children. It will offer a beautiful experience and refreshment for children. People generally complain that Tollywood doesn’t make good films. But when good films like these are made, they don’t get proper support. Our audiences are the best, but somewhere we are giving preference to outside films rather than our movies. Our ticket prices are also affordable.”
The movie also stars Jayasudha, Vasuki, Baby Kushi, Rajeev Kanakala, Harshavardhan, Ramana Bhargav, Harshini Koduri, and Mahesh Chintala in supporting roles.
