Singer Nick Jonas recently offered a sweet compliment to his wife, actor Priyanka Chopra, during a light-hearted conversation with his brothers Kevin and Joe Jonas about lip-care products.
The exchange took place during a podcast discussion that began with the brothers sharing ideas for Secret Santa gifts within a $5 budget. As they talked about chapsticks and different lip balms, the conversation turned to medicated products.
Kevin Jonas joked about the possibility of someone using a lip-plumping product without telling their partner.
“If your significant other has this plump lip stuff, and they don’t tell you and they kiss you, that’s like…” he said.
Nick then brought Priyanka into the conversation, responding: “Priyanka doesn’t have to do that. Her lips are already plump.”
The exchange has also drawn attention to Nick’s continued connection with Indian traditions. In the video, he was seen wearing a kalava, or sacred thread, around his right wrist, seemingly from a recent Navratri puja at the family’s home.
Priyanka has often shared glimpses of the family’s observance of Indian festivals and religious traditions in the United States, including efforts to introduce their daughter, Malti Marie, to Indian customs.
The actor recently posted photographs and videos from the family’s Dussehra celebrations at their Los Angeles home. The rituals included puja, Shivling Abhishek, havan and Kanya Pujan.
Nick was also seen participating in the Kanya Pujan ritual, washing Malti’s feet. The little one wore an ivory outfit paired with a red scarf carrying the words “Jai Mata Di”.
