During the show, Dr. Sejal Pawar jokingly said that she and her colleagues used to talk among themselves about the size of the private parts of male cadavers donated for medical studies. People slammed Pranit More on social media for his comment on his show.
This controversy has come to light right after that incident, when in one of Pranit More’s shows, a woman named Himanshu Jangra had said that during dating, a boy fed her biryani worth Rs 370 and then started expecting sexual favors in return. There was a lot of uproar on this too. Now the old video of Dr. Pawar has gone viral.
‘I apologize wholeheartedly’
After the matter heated up, Dr. Sejal Pawar issued a statement and apologized. She wrote, “I want to say something honestly about the video clip that is going viral. When I watched it again, I understood why people are angry about it. This is a very sensitive topic and my words came out in the wrong way. It was not my intention to disrespect anyone, but I understand that impact matters more than intent.”
Pawar further said that she will not try to justify what she said, but takes full responsibility for it. She wrote, “What I said was not what it was meant to be. I apologize to everyone who was hurt because of me. I realize my mistake and I promise that it will never happen again.” After this incident, many users on social media have raised questions about the limits of stand-up comedy and have demanded to make rules for such shows.
