6 things are strictly prohibited to be taken in the train
During Diwali, Chhath and other festivals, Indian Railways has started taking special precautions to ensure the safety of passengers, so that train travel remains safe and comfortable. As per official advice, passengers should avoid carrying certain items on the train. These mainly include 6 things – firecrackers, kerosene oil, gas cylinder, stove/chulha, matchsticks and cigarettes. The reason for this is very simple. All these items can be flammable or explosive. Space in trains is limited, ventilation is low and surfaces are often metal or plastic. In such a situation, even a small spark can create a big danger. Therefore, passengers have been requested not to carry these items with them and ensure safe travel.
