According to Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav, the guarantee of getting a confirmed ticket will completely depend on the availability of seats. By logging into the IRCTC website or app and selecting the booked ticket and if there is an available seat, any passenger will be able to choose Pradhan or any other train. At present, if a train is missed, passengers have to lose their entire fare. Following this rule, passengers do not need to lose money. At the same time, ticket cancellation charge increases 4 hours before the departure of the train.
