HIV VACCINE TRIAL 2025: Scientists from all over the world have been looking for an effective vaccine for the past several years to fight a dangerous disease like HIV. But now a ray of hope has been seen in this direction. Recently a test was done on an experimental vaccine in which the initial results were quite positive. But will this vaccine be completely successful? To know about this, you have to understand the whole story.

This new HIV vaccine trials have been done in parts of America and Africa. In this, about 108 healthy people were given this vaccine and their body reaction was tested. The special feature of this vaccine was that it was prepared from MRNA technology, with the same technique from which the vaccines of Covid‑19 were made. But HIV gets mute very quickly, that is, its form changes. Therefore, a strong and different kind of immunity is required and this BNAB can give antibodies.

What is bnab antibody

BNAB means broadly neutralizing antibody, understand in easy language, when some type of virus penetrates (HIV VIRUS), our immune system makes antibodies against it. But in the case of HIV Virus, the immune system does not recognize the normal antibody and the virus continues to spread in the body because this virus changes its form i.e. makes mutants. BNAB works here. BNAB is an antibody that recognizes different forms of HIV virus and is able to eliminate them.

What came in the trial

But wait. There are some challenges with everything. In the first phase trial, there were some signs which will need to improve the trial of different phases. In the first trial, people who were given MRNA-Nanopartical vaccines, among 80% of the people became neutralizing antibodies i.e. this vaccine was effective in maintaining immune memory. But at the same time, many people also saw reactions on skin, although there was no serious problem, but scientists became alert about it, to work on it.

Questions related to HIV Vaccine

Apart from this, there are some questions which will be answered in the coming stages. The most important question is that for how long the antibodies made will last in the body? Will a separate booster dose be required? Will this vaccine be able to work on people already infected or will this vaccine vaccine so that there is no risk of any disease in future.

Which company is making HIV Vaccine

Right now this trial took place in Phase 1 in which a vaccine is how safe or how much it is not. The real results will be known in Phase 2 and Phase 3 when the vaccine will be tried in different situations on different people. Companies like Chainsins and Moderna are currently preparing for the next phase, so that a wide impressive vaccine can be prepared later.

How long will HIV Vaccine come in the market

All the information that has come out so far shows that the vaccine being prepared from MRNA technology is the right step towards fighting HIV. If scientists are successful in the coming phases, then the way to protect against deadly disease like HIV opens. This also raises hope that in the coming years, the vaccine of HIV will be available in the market.
