Director Niranjan’s much-anticipated film ‘Mr Bhaarath’, starring actor Bhaarath, is now slated to hit cinemas on December 11 this year.
The film’s trailer was officially released on Friday, offering a glimpse into its unique narrative. Initially, the movie was scheduled for an October 1 release but was postponed to avoid clash with other major films.
The trailer introduces Bhaarath’s character as a ‘God’s masterpiece,’ a simpleton who interprets everything literally. A humorous scene shows him asking a rowdy sheeter for directions to Kodambakkam to verify his identity after being told, “Ask anybody in Kodambakkam who Kanal Kannan is.” This literal interpretation forms the core of his personality.
In the film, Bhaarath falls for Veni, portrayed by Samyuktha Viswanathan. A dialogue with Bala Saravanan’s character, where Bhaarath quips, “I have a problem for every solution,” further highlights his unconventional outlook.
Both Bhaarath and Niranjan are popular YouTube creators making their feature film debut. The shooting wrapped up in July last year. Producer Sudhan Sundaram of Passion Studios praised the young team’s commitment and efficiency, noting their ability to complete the shoot on schedule with professional planning. The film, presented by director Lokesh Kanakaraj, also features a strong supporting cast including Nidhi Pradeep, R. Sunder Rajan, and Linga. Om Narayan is the cinematographer, Dhivakar Dennis handles editing, and Pranav Muniraj composed the music. This rom-com promises to be a refreshing theatrical experience.
