Adhik Maas Shukra Pradosh Vrat 2026: Today is Shukra Pradosh fast of Adhikamas. Pradosh Vrat is dedicated to Lord Mahadev. Pradosh Vrat is known by the name of the day on which it falls. Pradosh Vrat is considered a special occasion to receive the blessings of Mahadev. There is a religious belief that by observing the fast of Pradosh, Lord Shiva becomes very happy and removes all the troubles of life. It is also believed that due to the virtuous effects of this fast and the blessings of Shiva, one attains salvation after death.

Shukra Pradosh Vrat Pooja Muhurta (Adhik Maas Shukra Pradosh Vrat 2026 Puja Subh Muhurat)
According to Drik Panchang, today on Shukra Pradosh fast, devotees will get a total of 01 hour 44 minutes of auspicious time to worship Lord Shiva. The auspicious time of puja during Pradosh period will start from 07.36 pm. This auspicious time of puja will last till 9.20 pm. According to religious traditions, the worship of Pradosh Vrat is considered especially fruitful during this period after sunset.
Shukra Pradosh Vrat Puja Method (Shukra Pradosh Vrat Puja Vidhi)
Devotees observing Shukra Pradosh fast should take bath first thing in the morning. Take a resolution to fast while meditating on Lord Shiva. Offer water to Shivling. Then in the evening, during Pradosh period, worship Lord Shiva properly. Anoint Shivling with water, milk, curd, ghee, honey and Ganga water. After this offer Belpatra, Dhatura, sandalwood and flowers. Chant “Om Namah Shivay” and Mahamrityunjaya mantra during the puja. Recite the story of Shukra Pradosh fast. Finally conclude the puja with Aarti.
