Under this new decision, the government has approved a huge project of Rs 1,235 crore for a luxurious residential complex and Rs 1,299 crore for a central government office complex in Amaravati, the new capital of Andhra Pradesh. Central employees are going to get direct and big benefits of this mega project. Let us tell you what are the complete details of this entire plan.
What is this whole plan of Modi government?
According to Union Information and Broadcasting Minister Ashwini Vaishnav, the Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs (CCEA) chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi has given the green signal to the construction of General Pool Residential Accommodation (GPRA) complex and Central Government Common Pool Office Accommodation (CGPOA) in Amravati. He said that 11 multi-storey luxurious towers will be built in this residential complex which will be developed in a vast area of about 17 acres.
A total of 1,504 luxurious residential flats ranging from Type-2 to Type-6 categories will be built in these towers. Not only this, a large basement parking facility for approximately 1,972 cars will also be developed in this special project. The total built up area of the entire complex will be 31.30 lakh square feet, which includes only the basement area of 9.10 lakh square feet.
Along with this, this grand office complex to be built in an area of about 5.53 acres will have two magnificent building blocks. The first block will be built on plot C-9 at ground plus 13 storeys high, while the second block will be built on plot C-8 at ground plus 10 storeys. The complex will provide world-class office facilities for approximately 8,000 executives and employees. Besides, excellent arrangements will also be made for parking of about 1,800 vehicles. The total built up area of this commercial project will be 23.25 lakh square feet.
Modern facilities will be available from ATM to guest house.
In this residential complex being built for the employees, not only houses will be available, but for their convenience, all the modern facilities like bank and ATM, post office, modern food facility including community hall, food court, shopping complex and luxurious guest house will be made available inside the complex. Apart from this, keeping in mind the convenience of the disabled people, the entire complex will be made barrier-free. This big project is also expected to create new employment opportunities on a large scale in the area.
On the other hand, for the convenience of the employees, necessary facilities like bank-ATM, post office, recreation room, special women’s room, 100-seat hi-tech conference room, a big hall with 500 seats and four modern canteens will also be provided in the central government office complex.
Know when will be the decision on Dearness Allowance (DA)
Amidst this big gift, let us also tell you that the government’s decision on the Dearness Allowance (DA) of central employees for the half year from July to December is also going to come in the next few months. The eyes of lakhs of employees and pensioners of the country are fixed on this. Experts and sources estimate that this new DA of employees can be officially announced by the government in the month of September or October.
