This year, the Amavasya Tithi of Kartik month will start at 3:44pm on October 20 and end at 5:54pm on October 21. Following this and most Panchang calculations, October 20 will be the day for Diwali And Lakshmi Pujan.

- Govardhan Puja (22 October): This day is celebrated to honour Lord Krishna, who lifted the Govardhan Hill.
- Bhai Dooj (23 October): The final day celebrates the special bond between brothers and sisters. On this day, sisters apply tilak on their brothers’ foreheads as they pray for his well being.
