Ayodhya Deepotsav 2025: 22 tableaux will be displayed on the achievements of Yogi government on the Deepotsav of Ramnagari Ayodhya. During this time a unique confluence of development and culture will be seen. Phag of Haryana and Kathakali folk dance of Kerala will also be the center of attraction.
Ayodhya News: This time the ninth Deepotsav in Lord Ram’s city Ayodhya will be decorated not only with the twinkling of lamps but also with the vibrant tableaus of the development of the state and Indian culture. To showcase the achievements of Yogi government, 15 attractive tableaux will be brought out by the Information Department, while the Tourism Culture Department will present tableaus on the theme based on the seven kandas of Ramayana. In which 22 tableaux are being prepared in Saket College. Along with this, folk arts and dances of different states of the country will enhance the beauty of the festival of lights.
Tableaux will show the development works of Yogi government
District Information Officer Santosh Kumar Dwivedi said that the tableaux of the Information Department will show the development works of the Yogi government. In these, the achievements of the government in areas like infrastructure, education, health, tourism and cultural development in Uttar Pradesh will be presented in a creative manner. These tableaux will be a symbol of the progress and prosperity of the state. On the other hand, tableaux are being prepared by the Culture Department based on the seven kandas of Ramayana – Balakand, Ayodhyakand, Aranyakand, Kishkindhakand, Sunderkand, Lankakand and Uttarkand. These tableaux will present the life of Lord Rama and the teachings of Ramayana in a lively form.

The tableaux are being made attractive and using technology.
Santosh Kumar Dwivedi said that the company nominated by the Information Department has paid special attention to making the tableaux attractive and technically advanced. These tableaux will not only be visually impressive but will also use modern technology to provide a unique experience to the audience. Additionally, Ayodhya will be decorated with lamps on the occasion of Deepotsav. Lakhs of lamps will be lit at Rampath, Bhakti Path and other prominent places, which will be another step towards creating a world record. Along with local people, devotees and tourists coming from India and abroad will also participate in this event.
Know which state’s folk arts will be seen
This time a unique confluence of cultural diversity will be seen in Deepotsav. Folk arts and dances from different states of the country will be the main attraction of the event. Phag of Haryana, Kathakali of Kerala, Jhumar of Rajasthan, Bhangra of Punjab, Sambalpuri of Odisha, Dibiya of Ghazipur and folk arts of West Bengal and Madhya Pradesh will spread their colors on the Rampath of Ayodhya. These presentations will not only showcase the cultural heritage but will also highlight the unity and diversity of the country. In this grand event, more than 500 artists will enthrall the audience with their performances.

According to a representative of Vivid India, the company responsible for the event, the Deepotsav will include Prayagraj Mahakumbh, Kashi Corridor, Agricultural Animal Husbandry, Ayushman Cashless, Defense Corridor, Our commitment to make Uttar Pradesh better, Clean and Green Uttar Pradesh, Developed India, Uttar Pradesh Police Security, Prime Minister Awas Yojana and Chief Minister Awas Yojana, PM Surya Ghar Free Electricity Scheme, Self-reliant Women, Beti Bachao Beti Padhao, Ayodhya. A glimpse of the work done by the Development Authority will be visible.
