Mumbai, Nov 3: Bollywood star Saif Ali Khan recently shared a candid anecdote about his wife, actress Kareena Kapoor Khan, from their ‘Tashan’ filming days in Ladakh.
Appearing on ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati’ with Amitabh Bachchan, Saif recounted their first bike ride together, revealing Kareena’s unexpected reaction.
Saif explained that initially, they were polite co-stars. Someone suggested he offer Kareena a bike ride, knowing her fondness for motorcycles. ‘I had hired a bike, and Ladakh’s roads are beautiful,’ Saif recalled. When he asked, Kareena enthusiastically agreed, saying, ‘I would love to, I love bikes.’
However, the ride took an amusing turn. ‘Every two seconds, she dug her nails into me and said, ‘Stop, stop, stop!” Saif narrated. Kareena’s fear of the speed was evident as she repeatedly asked him to slow down. Eventually, she declared, ‘No, I hate bike rides!’
Saif, initially confused, then had an epiphany. ‘I thought, ‘Ah… okay, maybe there is something else to it,” he shared, hinting at their budding romance. Their love story, which began on the sets of ‘Tashan’ (2008), blossomed into marriage in October 2012. Today, they are proud parents to sons Taimur Ali Khan and Jehangir Ali Khan, making this incident a sweet memory of their early days together.
