There is a group of 124 small and big temples here. Kuber Bhandari Temple is included in these. In this temple, Kuber Maharaj is worshiped in the form of Lord Shiva. What is the mystery and mythology behind this? Let us know.

Kuber Maharaj is called the god of wealth. He once ruled with pride and prosperity, but had to face defeat at the hands of his half-brother Ravana. Ravana had defeated Kuber Maharaj and snatched away his entire kingdom from him. After facing defeat in the battle with his step brother, Kuber Maharaj quietly went towards the mountains.

Lord Shiva was pleased with Kuber’s devotion.

During this time, Kuber Maharaj’s mind did not want gold, silver and wealth, rather his mind was searching for peace. Meanwhile, Lord Kuber reached the valley where Lord Shiva had meditated after the death of Sati. The air of the valley was still influenced by the penance of Lord Shiva. Kuber Maharaj had prayed to Lord Shiva on his knees. Lord Shiva was pleased with the devotion of Kuber Maharaj.

All wishes are fulfilled

After this, Lord Shiva had given this valley as a blessing to Kuber Maharaj, in which he was standing. From that day Jageshwar Dham became the home of Kuber. It is believed that Kuber, the god of wealth, worshiped Lord Shiva here and took blessings of prosperity. It is said that whoever prays to Lord Shiva and Kuber Maharaj here with a true heart, all his wishes are fulfilled.
