Why did the weather change suddenly?
The Meteorological Department says that there have been two major changes in the winds at this time. The first change has occurred near Haryana, where a cyclone (swirling wind system) is forming. The districts at risk include Gorakhpur, Maharajganj, Ballia, Deoria, Agra, Mathura, Firozabad, Mahoba, Jhansi, Lalitpur, Banda, Chitrakoot, Etah, Mahamayanagar, Moradabad, Bareilly, Jyotibaphule Nagar, Sonbhadra, Ghazipur and Ambedkar Nagar.
