Farmers of Indore and Ujjain took out a tractor rally in support of Bhavantar Yojana. Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that this scheme is a shield of financial security for the farmers, due to which they will get the full price of their crops.
Bhopal. On Sunday, farmers of Depalpur and Ujjain of Indore district took out a grand tractor rally in support of the Bhavantar scheme implemented to provide fair price to the farmers for their produce. Thousands of farmers gathered on the Super Corridor of Indore with tractors from rural areas and expressed gratitude to Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav for this historic decision of the state government.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav joined virtually from Sheopur district and thanked the farmers for their enthusiasm and gratitude. He said that the welfare of farmers is the top priority of the government. Through Bhavantar Yojana, it has been ensured that farmers get full price for their crops. If the prices fall in the market, the government will not allow any reduction in the income of the farmers. The smile returning on the faces of the farmers is a proof of the success of this scheme.
Bhavantar Yojana: Financial security shield for farmers
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that today there is buzz of tractors all around in Indore and food donors have made the city of Mata Ahilya proud. He said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, the state government is continuously working to bring prosperity in the lives of farmers.
The government is further strengthening the systems of irrigation, seeds, fertilizers, storage and marketing so that agriculture can become a profitable business. The Chief Minister said that Bhavantar Yojana is not just a payment system but also a shield of financial security of the farmers which will protect them from the fluctuations of the market.
Farmers will get full value of hard work and rights
The Chief Minister said that the Minimum Support Price (MSP) of soybean has been increased by Rs 500 and has been fixed at Rs 5328 per quintal. For the convenience of farmers, 1700 registration centers have been set up across the state, in which so far more than 5 lakh farmers have registered their crops.
More than 35 thousand farmers have been registered in Indore district alone. The last date for registration has been kept as 17th October. The Chief Minister said that the target is to give the amount to the farmers within 15 days of selling the crop. Every farmer will be given full amount of his hard work and rights. He proudly said that farmers are happy to avail the benefits of this scheme, and this is the biggest achievement of the government.
Appeal to farmers to register
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that all facilities have been ensured for the farmers from registration to crop sale. He directed that all the district collectors should be present in the markets and solve the problems of the farmers.
He appealed to the farmers to get their soybean crops registered and also get registered for organic farming. The Chief Minister said that this scheme is a historic step towards providing full value to the farmers for their hard work and providing them economic security.
Farmers expressed joy over Bhavantar scheme
The farmers participating in the rally said that Bhavantar Yojana has given them great relief from the declining market prices of crops. Now they are not forced to sell their crops at throwaway prices. The conversion amount received after sale in the market will strengthen their financial position.
Mahesh Chaudhary, Bharat Thakur and Dharmendra Bhadauria, farmers of Hatod, said that the scheme has given them relief from market uncertainty. Earlier they used to suffer loss when the price of produce fell, but now they are getting minimum remunerative price, which has increased confidence in farming. He expressed his gratitude to Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav.
Farmers Sandeep Patel and Ratan Patel of village Barodapanth of Depalpur said that earlier we had to sell the crops at throwaway prices, but now Bhavantar Yojana has ensured that we get fair prices. This will strengthen our economic condition.
Farmers Hariram Chauhan and Dinesh Sharma of village Limbodapar said that this scheme is proving to be a boon for the farmers. He told that he has sown soybean on 70 bighas and has registered himself in Bhavantar Yojana.
Bhuvan Singh Bhatia, a farmer of village Khareli, said that Chief Minister Dr. Yadav understood the problems of the farmers and implemented this scheme. This decision is historic in the interest of farmers. Bhavantar payment has provided financial support to farmers and new energy and enthusiasm in farming.
